Adaptive Session Flow Engine (ASFE) builds separate profiles for Asia, London and New York and preserves their important nodes after a session completes. It focuses on two structural references: POC, where participation is concentrated, and POV, where participation is thin.

Use ASFE to see how one session leaves structure for the next session to interact with rather than treating each candle as isolated price action.

Quick start

  1. Enable the sessions relevant to your market.

  2. Set Session Timezone correctly.

  3. Start with Experience = Advanced.

  4. Keep both POC and POV visible while learning the profile.

  5. Only move into Retest Mode after you understand first-touch behavior.

How to read it

Session profile

Volume distribution built separately for a configured session.

POC

Highest-participation area in the profile. It represents acceptance/control.

POV

Thin-participation area selected by the profile engine. It represents an area where the auction moved with less acceptance.

VAH / VAL

Boundaries of the selected session value area.

Developing profile

The current session while it is still forming.

Closed profile

A completed session retained for later interaction.

Node signal

A configured interaction with POC or POV. Read the node type and direction together with current context.

Retest mode

Changes interaction handling from a simple first touch toward repeated retest logic.

POC versus POV

This distinction is central to ASFE.

POC = acceptance/control. The session concentrated the most participation there.

POV = thin participation/void. The profile engine identified a comparatively low-participation area. Price may move through a POV differently from how it behaves around a POC.

Do not call POV a “weak POC”. They represent different profile structure.

Session hand-off

A completed London or New York node can remain relevant after that session ends. The point of ASFE is to preserve the session structure so later price action can be read in relation to it.

Troubleshooting

Why is a session profile missing?

Check the session toggle, session window, timezone and available chart history.

Why is POC not in the same place as POV?

They represent opposite participation characteristics by design.

Why did a node stop extending?

The node can be consumed/retired after a qualifying interaction depending on the active retest settings.

Why did changing Experience not change signals?

Experience is intended as a visual preset; signal calculations remain separate.

Settings reference

Experience

Selects a visual complexity preset.

Change this to simplify or expand the chart without manually toggling each supported visual.

Visual-only unless the indicator explicitly says otherwise.

Strategy Preset

Loads a validated configuration for a supported market/timeframe.

Use only when your chart matches the preset label.

Do not treat presets as universal settings for other symbols or timeframes.

Optimization Run

Shows the indicator’s validation/optimization information panel.

Hide it when you need more chart space.

The Wiki does not publish the hidden search process behind presets.

Trade Mode

Controls whether native analytical labels or B/S trade-plan visuals are shown.

Use Off for pure analysis, Preset for an active preset, or Custom for supported manual risk/reward settings.

Trade Mode is a visualization/execution layer; it does not turn the indicator into guaranteed trade automation.

Trade Visuals

Shows entry, stop and target visuals for Trade Mode.

Hide when you want B/S labels without the full position graphics.

Visual setting only.

Trade History

int

Controls how many historical trade-plan visuals are retained.

Reduce it if the chart becomes visually crowded.

TradingView has object limits, so very large histories can displace older visuals.

Custom Stop Loss

float

Sets the stop distance used by Custom Trade Mode.

Change only when you intentionally want a different risk model.

This affects trade-plan visualization/backtest behavior, not the quality of the underlying signal.

Custom Reward Ratio

Sets the reward multiple used by Custom Trade Mode.

Adjust when testing a different risk/reward profile.

This changes the trade plan, not the underlying node signal.

Use Asia
