Node Breach Engine (NBE) builds volume profiles over swing or session structure and tracks interaction with key profile nodes. POC represents concentrated participation; POV represents a thinner participation area. NBE can then evaluate rejection, retest and contextual behavior around those nodes.

Use NBE to understand where the market previously spent meaningful activity, where it moved through more easily, and what happens when price revisits those areas.

Quick start

  1. Start with Experience = Advanced.

  2. Use Swing profiles for pivot-to-pivot structure or Session profiles for a fixed session.

  3. Keep POC, POV, VAH and VAL visible while learning the profile.

  4. Leave the core signal filters near their intended settings initially.

  5. Use Professional mode later when you specifically want CVD, node-strength and deep-dive visuals.

How to read it

Volume profile

Distribution of volume through the selected swing or session window.

POC

Highest-participation profile row. It represents acceptance/control.

POV

A selected thin-participation area. It often behaves differently from POC because the market previously spent less activity there.

VAH / VAL

Boundaries of the selected value area.

Developing POC / POV

Shows how nodes move while the profile is still forming.

Node strength

A proprietary contextual score displayed for interpretation. Higher strength means the engine sees a more meaningful node according to its internal criteria; the formula is intentionally not public.

Profile CVD / POC CVD

Directional volume context attached to the profile/node view.

Signal Deepdive

Optional diagnostic information around a node interaction. Use it to understand context, not to recreate the signal engine.

Trend wave

Professional-mode trend context.

Signal candle

The bar on which an eligible node interaction is confirmed.

POC versus POV

POC is a high-participation node: the market previously accepted and concentrated activity there.

POV is a thin-participation area: the market previously moved through it with less participation.

The same price behavior can therefore mean something different at POC than at POV.

Node Strength

Node Strength is deliberately documented as an interpretation score, not a formula. Higher displayed strength means the engine classifies that POC as more structurally meaningful using multiple contextual factors. Do not attempt to translate the percentage into a literal win probability.

Rejection and Retest

A first rejection describes how price responds on an initial qualifying interaction. Retest Mode is for users who intentionally want repeated interactions tracked before the node is retired. Repeated testing can strengthen acceptance or weaken rejection depending on price behavior; the counter alone does not decide that for you.

Troubleshooting

Why is there no POC/POV signal on a touch?

Check the active signal filters, session filter, wick/rejection requirements, margins and whether the node is still active.

Why does Professional show much more information?

Professional enables additional visual diagnostics such as CVD, strength/deep-dive context and trend wave; it does not mean a different market event occurred.

Why did a node disappear after interaction?

Nodes can be retired after a qualifying touch/retest according to the active mode.

Why should I not copy node-strength values into another system?

Node Strength is a proprietary contextual output. The percentage is not a standalone probability or public formula.

This page describes what the indicator exposes to the user and how to interpret it. It intentionally does not publish source code, proprietary formulas, hidden preset resolution, optimization search logic or enough internal logic to recreate the engine.

Experience

Selects a visual complexity preset.

Change this to simplify or expand the chart without manually toggling each supported visual.

Visual-only unless the indicator explicitly says otherwise.

Strategy Preset

string

Loads a validated configuration for a supported market/timeframe.

Use only when your chart matches the preset label.

Do not treat presets as universal settings for other symbols or timeframes.

Optimization Run

bool

Shows the indicator’s validation/optimization information panel.

Hide it when you need more chart space.

The Wiki does not publish the hidden search process behind presets.

Trade Mode

Controls whether native analytical labels or B/S trade-plan visuals are shown.

Use Off for pure analysis, Preset for an active preset, or Custom for supported manual risk/reward settings.

Trade Mode is a visualization/execution layer; it does not turn the indicator into guaranteed trade automation.

Custom Stop Loss

Sets the stop distance used by Custom Trade Mode.

Change only when you intentionally want a different risk model.

This affects trade-plan visualization/backtest behavior, not the quality of the underlying signal.

Custom Take Profit

Sets the reward target used by Custom Trade Mode.

Adjust when testing a different reward multiple.

A larger target generally trades frequency of wins for larger potential R.

Trade Visuals

Shows entry, stop and target visuals for Trade Mode.

Hide when you want B/S labels without the full position graphics.

Visual setting only.

Trade History

Controls how many historical trade-plan visuals are retained.

Reduce it if the chart becomes visually crowded.

TradingView has object limits, so very large histories can displace older visuals.

Profile Type

string

Chooses whether NBE builds pivot-to-pivot Swing profiles or fixed Session profiles.

Use Swing for market-structure swings; use Session when you want a defined time-window profile.

This materially changes the structure being analyzed.

Profile Window

Chooses between the current/developing scan and retained closed-profile structure.

Use Current for the live profile; use Closed Profiles when historical completed profiles matter.

Historical availability still depends on loaded chart data and object limits.

Bars Scan

int

Caps how far the current profile can scan back.

Increase only when the developing profile legitimately needs more history.

Safety/performance setting.

Swing Width

int

Controls how broad the pivot structure must be before a swing profile is formed.

Higher values create fewer, broader swings; lower values create more responsive swings.

Changing this materially changes profile segmentation.

Histogram Rows

int

Controls vertical aggregation/resolution of the profile or footprint display.

Increase aggregation for a smoother view; reduce aggregation for more detail where supported.

More detail can increase visual noise and calculation load.

Value Area

float

Controls or displays the portion of profile activity treated as value.

Change only when your profile methodology intentionally uses a different value definition.

Avoid tuning value area simply to fit a preferred historical outcome.

Profile Session

session

Defines or controls the relevant trading/session time window.

Change when studying another market session or execution period.

Always verify timezone before changing session hours.

Session Timezone

Sets the timezone used to interpret configured session windows.

Change when the chart/session should follow another market timezone.

IANA timezone choices handle daylight-saving changes automatically where applicable.

Rejection Close

bool

Requires the signal candle to close back on the intended side of the node.

Disable only if your methodology accepts touches without closing rejection.

Removing it usually increases weaker interactions.

Momentum Guard

bool

Rejects unusually large momentum bars relative to current volatility.

Adjust when the symbol/timeframe routinely has larger or smaller impulsive candles.

Designed to avoid treating oversized momentum-through events like clean node rejections.

ATR Multiplier

float

Controls volatility-based context or filtering.

Adjust when the instrument/timeframe requires a different volatility regime definition.

ATR settings use the symbol’s price behavior; avoid copying values blindly between markets.

Wick Filter

bool

Controls wick-based interaction/rejection requirements.

Adjust when you want stricter or looser wick evidence.

A wick is contextual rejection evidence, not proof of reversal.
